KnowledgeTree at the CITI ICT Conference 2006
September 8, 2006 – 5:34 pmAt the Cape IT Initiative ICT Conference a few weeks ago I spoke on KnowledgeTree, commercial open source and our experiences with commercializing KnowledgeTree. I spent some time focussing on community development and the challenges surrounding this.
What I had to say was very well received and I was approached by a few organizations that were thinking of commercializing open source applications or open sourcing proprietary applications.
Perhaps there is enough momentum in South Africa for some sort of commercial open source “publishers group”?

Hi Andy,
That’s odd. I’ll have to reupload it. No idea where it has disappeared to.
Best,
Daniel
